Dear Neighbor,

The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Fire Department is comprised of a dedicated group of 85 men and women who volunteer their time to respond to emergency calls day or night, 365 days a year. These committed individuals spend an average of 100 hours per year training to ensure their skills meet both NYS and US Fire Service Standards. In addition, our firefighters answered 799 emergency calls during 2022, while maintaining an estimated $5 million dollars' worth of essential fire equipment. Our volunteer fire company members come from all walks of life. Their common goal is to protect the lives and property of the residents within our fire district.

While your tax dollars provide for the maintenance of the fire station and firefighting equipment, we are seeking your support in our annual fund drive. Your generous donation will help us cover the costs of programs and other items needed to support our volunteers. Programs such as our children's fire prevention and education events, and numerous community outings that are not covered by your tax dollars. The volunteers’ only compensation is the satisfaction of knowing the job was done well. The members of the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Fire Department consider it a civicduty and a privilege to serve you throughout the year.
