The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Fire Department is comprised of a dedicated group of 85 men and women who volunteer their time to respond to emergency calls day or night, 365 days a year. These committed individuals spend an average of 100 hours per year training to ensure their skills meet both NYS and US Fire Service Standards. In addition, our firefighters answered 726 emergency calls during the 2020 pandemic, while maintaining an estimated $5 million dollars’ worth of essential fire equipment.
While your tax dollars provide for the maintenance of the fire station and firefighting equipment, we are seeking your support in our annual fund drive. Your generous donation will help us cover the costs of programs and other items needed to support our volunteers. Programs such as our children’s fire prevention and education events, and our annual Community Day, where we invite our neighbors in to view or apparatus, have food and enjoy games for families, and other items that are not covered by your tax dollars.
Please take a moment to support our 2021 fund drive by sending a donation in the enclosed self-addressed envelope. If you would prefer to donate online, please scan the QR code here. If you are interested in becoming a member of our department, call the number above or stop by any Monday night after 6:30pm. You can also visit our website at www.cliftonparkfire.org to learn more about us and to download an application. If you’d like information on our Ladies Auxiliary, please contact the number above.
On behalf of the proud members and officers of the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Fire Department, THANK YOU for your continued support.
Sincerely,2021 Fund Drive Committee
